Bormax 2.0 forstner bits from Famag are made in Germany of high-quality alloy tool steel with a black oxide finish that provides superior corrosion resistance. Unlike traditional forstner bits with only two scoring lips, Bormax 2.0 forstner bits feature waveform design bodies that reduce friction and create multiple scoring cutters for cleaner, cooler cuts and extended bit life. The two main cutting edges feature a staggered chip breaker profile that produces narrow shavings for unparalleled chip ejection in even the deepest holes. The optimized center spur ensures accurate wander free drilling in both angled and overlapping hole. Each bit features a hex shank that won’t slip in your chuck making them ideal for handheld, drill press, and lathe boring applications. Famag Bormax 2.0 Forstner bits require less power to drive and can be run at higher RPM for faster drilling without fear of burning in Softwood, hardwoods, particleboard, melamine, and MDF. 

All Bormax 2.0 Forstner bits measure 3-1/2″ in overall length and this set comes in a custom molded plastic carry case for years of trouble-free service.
