Izzi Skirt Washers make it easy to attach table tops to table bases. Simply drill a 9/16” hole with a forstner bit centered at 3/16” from the edge of the skirt. Attach the Izzi Skirt Washer with a #8 flat head screw (not included). Then use a #8 Pan head screw through the slotted portion to secure the table top. The 5/8” long slot allows the tabletop to expand and contract with seasonal moisture changes eliminating the chance of splitting due to cross grain conflict between the top and base.
